Dr Ijeoma Nduka-Nwosu, MD, MPH

Founder/President

Dr I jeoma Nduka-Nwosu is a renowned medical professional specializing in Social Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as Comprehensive Primary Care Services. She is the Founder and President of Ejayes Charities Inc., a well-known not-for-profit organization created in 2003 to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare and educational services in Africa. Her impressive academic career dates back to the period between 1971-1977 when she studied and obtained a BS and MB degrees from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus Nigeria. She subsequently migrated to the United States where she earned the post graduate degrees of MPH and MD form Harvard School of Public Health, Boston MA. Dr Nduka-Nwosu is currently in private practice as Medical Director, Primary Care Services in New Rochelle, Brooklyn and Mount Vernon in the state of New York.

Dr Beverly Carter, PhD

Program Director

Dr Carter has vast experience in the human services field, with program directorships spanning the age spectrum, from preschool to geriatrics. With expertise in organizational leadership, and program development and design, she has a strong international background with extensive global travel including alumnus status with Harvard University’s Center for International Development (WorldTeach-Kenya); medical missions with ECI to Nigeria and Haiti and Educational missions in Kenya.

Alice Massa

Physical Therapy & Rehab Director

Alice Massa has served ECI as a volunteer and program director, and has championed the cause for over a decade. Despite her partial vision impairment she has participated in several of the organizations medical missions and outreach programs abroad.

Dr. Dave Livingston, MD.

Director, Surgical Unit

Dr Dave Livingston is a reputable Medical Doctor in the United States and he is in charge of ECI’s surgical operations during the organization’s medical missions overseas. He has participated in numerous medical missions organized by Ejayes Charities Inc., to Nigeria (Nasarawa, Kano, Abuja, Abia states). In his role as Director of Surgical operations he conducts free procedures to the sick rural residents how cannot afford the minor operations that could vastly improve their quality of life.
