Support for Communities

In carrying out each aspect of our healthcare and educational programs in Nigeria, our philosophy has always been to emphasize training over the handing out of aid. Our activities will reflect a paradigm shift as 600 youths will receive training in such areas as CPR, computer programing, knitting, fashion design, plumbing, carpentry, electrical wiring and a host of other employable-skill development efforts.

Upon completion of the short term training, participants in our programs are taught to write job application letters, personal resumes and how to dress and excel at employment interviews. The main objective here is to produce future trainers, as well as productive members of their communities. To complement our efforts in conducting these area training programs, experts and experienced volunteers from area universities, hospitals and businesses will be invited to address these youths on issues that may not have been covered during our training sessions.
